Case overview
SMIELS stands as an all-encompassing cloud-based B2B platform, meticulously developed from scratch. It brings to the table a highly adaptable sales and inventory management system, a tailor-made user permissions structure, and a seamless integrated feedback mechanism for fine-tuning parameters. Furthermore, it boasts rapid export capabilities for email or PDF formats, along with robust sales analytics tools.
The Brief
The main objective of SMIELS is to provide an inventory platform for B2B businesses where they are able to manage all of their business processes in one place. It was a lengthy and tough project for which we had to follow the complete SDLC agile development model, gathering requirements, project management, design phase, development phase, testing phase, and most importantly how are we going to manage our sprints.
Our Approach
In terms of my involvement, We initially took charge of the accounting and banking module, building it from the ground up. Our role spanned both front-end and back-end development, which we managed single-handedly. This encompassed establishing documentation, architecting the back-end, and designing the database. We were also instrumental in crafting themed UI pages and components, as well as integrating APIs.
Beyond this, our contributions extended to various other facets of the product. This included enhancing code efficiency, implementing updates based on client feedback, and ensuring ongoing maintenance.
